Job Overview
We are seeking a Community Engagement Coordinator to oversee the organization’s public-facing initiatives, including social media and health fairs.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Maintain and update NAMI Oklahoma website
Format, edit and release NAMI Oklahoma quarterly newsletter
Create and manage official NAMI Oklahoma communications and reference material
Create flyers, emails, advertisements, and other support material for programs and other organizational needs
Serve as the primary NAMI Oklahoma representative for vendor booths
Be available for public speaking engagements to promote NAMI Oklahoma
Collaborate with all NAMI Oklahoma staff and affiliates as needed with the purpose of effectively marketing NAMI Oklahoma to the community
Oversee volunteers, providing training and scheduling
Answer calls and provide support on Helpline
Other duties, as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma plus 3-5 years of work-related experience OR Associate’s degree plus 2 years of work-related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in business, public relations, marketing, non-profit philanthropy, or similar field.
Exemplary written communication skills.
Proficiency working with social media platforms.
Experience with graphic design software.
Excellent public speaking skills.
Willingness to travel, primarily within Oklahoma.
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Commitment to NAMI’s mission and values and ability to integrate your commitment into your work.
Physical requirements:
Prolonged periods of working on a computer, ability to lift up to 15 lbs.
