Job Description – Community Engagement Coordinator (250000RI)
Description:
Under general supervision of the Manager of Strategic Partnerships and Community Engagement and following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, the candidate will engage the community in various activities and educational events to meet service line and evidence-based needs. Engagement of the community will include conducting physician-led, corporate, foundation and community lectures, supporting service line projects, programs, and related sponsorship activations, implementing a strategy for outreach and education that identifies targeted populations and collaborates with other community organizations to meet those needs.
The coordinator will work with the manager and cross-departmentally to analyze the market, target populations, organize and execute events, and participate in ongoing community functions that will create awareness of TGH and its capabilities in the community. The coordinator will be assigned hospital service lines to lead for the above community activities and partnerships and will be assigned a geographic territory.
They will actively stay engaged with community partners including the Chambers of Commerce, community organizations, local stakeholders and not-for-profits to maintain relationships and seek out new collaboration opportunities for delivering benefits to the communities we serve. The coordinator will work collaboratively to plan and execute lecture requests from internal and external stakeholders including large community events. They will analyze program outcomes and track participation and downstream activity to determine activity ROI, and must be able to evaluate and modify programs to ensure needs are being met.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, Health Care Administration or related field required, or 3 – 5 years of work-related experience. Must have experience in providing presentations, event and project management, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze and act on data outcomes.
