Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Community Case Manager – Homeownership Programs for a mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to building homes, communities, and hope. This is a direct hire, onsite position based in Houston, TX.

Position Overview

The Community Case Manager – Homeownership Programs plays a highly visible, homeowner-facing role supporting families through the homeownership and sweat equity journey. This position manages individual homeowner cases from intake through dedication, providing guidance, coordination, and accountability across education, financial readiness, and program milestones. The ideal candidate is bilingual, compassionate, highly organized, and energized by community-centered work.

Responsibilities

  • Manage homeowner cases from orientation through program completion, guiding participants toward successful homeownership
  • Coordinate orientations, counseling sessions, financial reviews, program meetings, and key milestones
  • Track, approve, and report sweat equity hours and homeowner progress across departments
  • Provide personalized financial and credit guidance while monitoring savings and program requirements
  • Maintain accurate homeowner records and documentation within Salesforce and approved file systems
  • Serve as a liaison across internal teams and external partners for classes, build days, dedications, and community events

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills required
  • Experience supporting case management, community services, or homeowner-facing programs
  • Strong organization, time management, and facilitation skills
  • Comfort working in both indoor and outdoor environments and attending community events
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM systems and general administrative tools

Compensation And Benefits

This is a full-time, exempt, direct hire position offering annual compensation of $49,100 – 55,800 and full benefits eligibility after 60 days, including medical coverage.
