Desired Candidate Profile
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Fine Arts, Community Development, Social Work, or a related field. Additional training or certifications in community arts may be advantageous. Proven experience as a Community Arts Worker, Art Educator, or similar role, demonstrating experience in
community engagement
and art facilitation. Strong artistic skills and knowledge across various art forms and mediums. Understanding of community development principles and the ability to apply them in the context of art-based interventions.
Ability to connect and engage with
diverse community
groups, including children, youth, adults, and marginalized populations. Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills
to build rapport, facilitate group discussions, and establish a
supportive environment
. Knowledge of art therapy principles and techniques is beneficial but not always required. Strong organizational and
