Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in shaping our organization’s messaging and communications strategy. As the linchpin of our communications efforts, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency in our brand voice across various platforms, including social media, newsletters, and press releases
Pay Range
$1100 – $1350 weekly
Responsibilities Include
Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to support organizational goals.
Create and curate engaging content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and newsletters.
Collaborate with team members to design and execute marketing campaigns that promote our brand and initiatives.
Manage press releases, media inquiries, and relationships with journalists and other media outlets.
Monitor public relations and social media trends to inform communication strategies and recommendations.
Organize and coordinate events, presentations, and workshops to enhance community engagement and visibility.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
2-3 years of experience in a communications or marketing role, preferably in a nonprofit or similar setting.
Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different audiences.
Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Experience with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
