Job Description
Inova Fairfax Hospital is looking for a dedicated Clinical Technician 1 to join the ICU -Cardiovascular Unit. This role will be full-time day/night rotating 3 (12 hour shifts), 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m./ 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities
(to include but not limited to)
Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
ADLs
Blood Draws
IV Insertion
Catheter / Foley insertion
Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
Requirements
Work Schedule: (3) 12-hour shift days/nights rotating, 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.)
Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of,
Virtual modules
Classroom-style sessions: 8AM – 4:30PM
On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD)
Experience
: Prior clinical experience in healthcare is strongly preferred
