Job Overview

CLO is adding this new position of Clinical Operations Director to enhance the quality of services to adults with mental health diagnoses and/or developmental or intellectual disabilities.

The role of the Clinical Operations Director is to partner closely with the CEO and leadership team to steer the clinical and operational strategy to ensure seamless execution of daily programmatic operations. This new position will monitor clinical outcomes and oversee clinical program operations, including maintaining a small clinical case load of CLO’s Transitions program serving adults with complex behavioral plans and needs.

Responsibilities

* Monitor clinical outcomes for all programs

* Carry consumer case load of Transitions Program individuals

* Ensure that clinical and operational procedures are consistent with legal, licensing, and funding source requirements

* Directly supervise two (2) Program Directors, Quality Assurance Director, and Transitions Program Manager

* Negotiate programmatic contracts, maintain working relationships with current and potential funding sources, and negotiate contracts for services with outside vendors

* Work with Program Directors and Transitions Program Manager to ensure required staffing levels are met and assist with complex employee issues

* Plan and problem-solve daily issues as well as strategize for future operations

* Develop annual organizational management objectives from the strategic plan

* Serve on CLO’s Administrative/Leadership Team

Skills

1. Master’s degree plus minimum of five (5) years’ clinical and program management experience required. Minimum two (2) years’ executive leadership experience required.

2. LMSW or BCBA preferred.

3. Prior successful management experience should include demonstrated competencies in clinical oversight, program management, and contract negotiation. Experience in finance/budgeting and quality management desired.

4. Prior experience in not-for-profit mental health arena and/or residential programming experience strongly preferred.

5. Demonstrated computer and electronic medical records proficiency required.

6. Valid driver’s license and good driving record which meets auto insurance company requirements.

7. Ability to collaborate with individuals of diverse backgrounds.

8. Ability to interact effectively with consumers, staff referral sources and the public required.

9. Ability to drive personal vehicle throughout workday

Pay: $85,000.00 – $92,000.00 per year
