Status:Exempt 40 hours/week
The Children’s Ministries Curriculum Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the development and distribution of all curriculum and worship content. Incollaborationwith other teams & departments, this role supports the Children and Family Ministries’ vision by offering strategies, creativity, andleadership.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the content and resource distribution systems for kids, parents, volunteers, and staff.
Measure, monitor, and respond appropriately to the effectiveness of strategies using data and feedback.
Ensure accurate and timely communications to the campuses and families.
Collaborate with Central Ministries to develop content, products, projects, and ministry-specific events/strategies.
Organize and maintain all digital files, videos, and documents for ministry use and training.
Assist the Children’s Ministries Director with oversight of the annual budget and spending.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Biblical Studies – required
2+ years of experience in children’s ministry and creative writing – required
Experience in child development andeducation- preferred
High competency in proofing & editing material.
Proven writing skills with the ability to articulate stories and speak scripture in a kid-friendly manner.
Ability to ask, receive, and gather feedback.
Adapt to changing environments and maintain apositive attitude.
Able to organize and maintain media files on computer systems.
Self-starter with the ability to multitask on both long and short-term projects.
Strong written and verbalcommunication skills.
Take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to collaborate well incross-functional teamsand projects across the organization.
Strong interpersonal skills in working with different personalities andleadershipstyles.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Typical hours will be split between weekdays & weekends, including evenings as needed. This includes multiple Christmas Eve services and Easter.
Extensive standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods of time.
Repetitive keyboard and mouse movement requirements.
May require lifting up to 25 lbs.
A mature faith, a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, commitment to the Teaching Statement and ministries of Hosanna, a signed HosannaLeadershipCovenant, and submission to Biblical authority along with membership in the congregation and worship at Hosanna are requirements for all employees.
