About You
You are compassionate, patient, and reliable.
You have experience working with people with disabilities or other special needs, or you are willing to learn.
You are flexible and adaptable to changing situations and needs.
You have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Special Education, Psychology, Developmental Disabilities or a mental health-related field is preferred. A combination of education and experience is welcome!
You have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and updated insurance.

What You Get to Do Each Day
Support and lead an amazing group of Child & Youth Services Assistants.
Communicate and work with families regarding referral documentation and procedure.
Maintain case files and case notes for all Child & Youth clients.
Organize community-focused events for Child & Youth clients.
Provide emotional support and encouragement to children and their families.
Ensure the safety and well-being of the children by adhering to VARC’s policies and procedures.
