The primary objective of the Chief Philanthropy Officer (CPO) is to increase revenue in a strategic manner that drives the mission of the United Way of North Central New Mexico (UWNCNM). The CPO ensures the effective execution and growth of the organization’s revenue generation through the engagement of donors and volunteers and the coordination of staff and volunteer efforts related to revenue generation activities.
Additional Areas of **
Develop and lead a large volunteer and staff team in the achievement of fundraising goals.
Manage and oversee all key philanthropy programs including all major gifts, workplace campaigns, sustained giving, leadership donor groups, special events, planned giving, and corporate/foundation support.
Other Information/
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; master’s degree a plus.
7-10 years of experience in fundraising.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
