About the role
The COO will provide strategic leadership and operational oversight to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of WEF Foundation’s programs and administrative functions. This role involves managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the foundation, ensuring smooth execution of programs and projects.
Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
Work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to achieve strategic goals.
Supervise key departments, including finance, HR, and program management.
Optimize resource allocation and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, donor agreements, and legal requirements.
Lead risk management initiatives to mitigate operational challenges.
Represent the organization in external meetings, partnerships, and stakeholder engagements.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a nonprofit setting.
Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent financial management and budgeting skills.
Ability to manage diverse teams and build a strong organizational culture.
Experience in working with international organizations, donors, and stakeholders.
