Position Overview

One of Hawai‘i’s most respected nonprofit healthcare organizations seeks a creative and strategic Chief Growth Officer to lead efforts in marketing, fundraising, and brand development. Rooted in a mission of compassion and care, the organization provides support to individuals and families facing serious illness and end-of-life journeys. The CGO will play a critical role in advancing the organization’s mission by growing community awareness, deepening donor engagement, and strengthening internal and external communications.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic marketing and communications plans

Build brand awareness through content creation, media outreach, and digital campaigns

Lead fundraising strategy across individual giving, foundations, government sources, and events

Cultivate major donors and oversee stewardship activities

Guide internal communications and stakeholder engagement

Manage and mentor a team of four, including business development and philanthropy staff

Collaborate with executive leadership and board on growth and sustainability goals

Oversee budget management and campaign performance analytics

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (advanced degree preferred)

5–7 years of experience in marketing and fundraising leadership, ideally in nonprofit and/or healthcare

Proven track record of growing brand visibility and increasing revenue through campaigns

Experience managing staff and working cross-functionally with executive leadership

Proficiency in CRM systems and marketing analytics tools
