Kaniksu Community Health is a non-profit, award-winning Community Health Center offering integrated medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare. We serve patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics through a collaborative, team-based approach. Your Role as CFO

As Chief Financial Officer, you’ll guide the financial strategy and operations of the organization, ensuring fiscal responsibility, transparency, and sustainability. You’ll be trusted to lead budgeting, reporting, compliance, payroll, and audit processes while mentoring a dedicated finance team. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver affordable, accessible care to our communities.

What You’ll Do

Lead the preparation and accuracy of monthly financial statements, dashboards, and reports

Guide strategic financial planning and budget development

Monitor financial performance and support leadership with corrective action planning

Oversee all fiscal operations, including internal controls, payroll, AP, purchasing, and inventory

Support audit preparation and ensure compliance with laws and funding regulations

Supervise and develop finance team members

Collaborate with leadership to communicate key financial insights

Ensure HIPAA and other regulatory compliance in financial systems

What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred)

Minimum 5 years of leadership experience as CFO, Controller, or Finance Director

Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and fund accounting

Demonstrated integrity and commitment to ethical financial stewardship

Proven ability to lead teams and communicate complex financial data clearly

Experience in healthcare, nonprofit, or federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) is a plus
