About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its philanthropic efforts in support of Ukraine. The CEO will be responsible for providing inspiring leadership, strategic direction, and operational management to ensure the organization’s mission is effectively carried out. This includes leading a team of nearly 50 individuals, with a focus on transparent reporting, and impactful projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep connection to the mission, a credible appreciation of Ukrainian society and culture, and a general understanding of the current events impacting Ukraine.
They should be an innovative leader, skilled in building partnerships, and have a proven track record in nonprofit management, including financial oversight and staff development. The successful CEO will be an external ambassador for the organization, with a passion for promoting its work and impact. They will be responsible for fostering a culture of accountability, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring the organization’s resources are used to achieve the greatest possible impact.
The role requires a leader with unimpeachable integrity, an ethos of servant leadership, and the ability to work with a diverse range of stakeholders. The CEO will also be expected to have exceptional communication skills, be adept at problem-solving, and have a strong focus on attracting new, high-level donors. This is a pivotal role at a key inflection point for the organization, and the CEO will play a critical part in determining its future goals and model for sustainability.
