We are currently seeking a Chaplain to:
Make pastoral visits to residents residing in Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing and Memory Support as well as residents during hospitalization and follow-up care.
Attend and support families during funeral/ memorial services
Provide spiritual care to residents of all faiths with sensitivity and respect for all faith traditions, with the goal of enabling residents to utilize their own faith as a resource for health and healing.
Utilize resources of local congregations to assist in meeting the spiritual needs of the residents, families and staff of the community.
Schedule and coordinate worship services in the community Chapel and conduct worship services as needed.
The Chaplain reports to the Executive Director and works with Life Enrichment and Social Services teams to provide services that respond to the spiritual, emotional and psychological needs of the residents.
Required Education/Certification/Licensure:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university. Degree in Theology or Divinity is preferred.
Training and Experience
Three years’ experience in a field related to Chaplaincy, Practical Ministry and/or Pastoral Care.
Knowledgeable of Pastoral Care and Services as they relate to a non-profit, church-related institution.
