Provideleadershipand oversight of HW programs and operations. Supervise Financial Management, Development and Public Communications;
Advocate for the rights of the unhoused;
Collaborate with the board of directors;
Work with staff and board toward the strategic plan;
Ensure compliance with grantors, government officials, etc.
Additional Areas of Responsibility:
Serve as primary spokesperson for Hope Works to cultivate relationships with donors, partners, stakeholders, elected officials, media, and the public;
Work with financial staff to ensure legal fiscal practices that keep Hope Works within budget and overall agency health;
Advocate for legislation and policy priorities with local, state, and national officials.
Other Information/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a human-services-related field and/or business-related field;
Prefer Masters of Public Administration, Human or Social Service or Business Administration; 5+ years of nonprofitleadership; 5+ years nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, grants and contracts;
Hands-onbudget managementskills, strong written and oralcommunication skillsincluding public speaking.
