Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Have one year of responsible full time clerical experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Demonstrates the ability to engage consumers in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.
Provides outstanding customer service.
Inputs, updates and maintains the centralized schedule.
Answers calls, verifies authorizations and schedules appointments as appropriate.
May be responsible for answering and triaging internal and external telephone calls as needed.
Maintains the staff appointment schedule. Making/Changing appointments, making changes and making follow-up phone calls to minimize “no shows.”
Manages the backfill process and makes follow-up calls to schedule appointments.
Supports the engagement of consumers in services by processing outreach letters.
Answers both general and specific inquiries regarding departmental procedures, some of which may require detailed interpretation of departmental policies and procedures.
