Overview
CDL Driver / Knuckleboom Truck Operator Jobs in Statham, GA at Oconee Foundations
About Oconee Foundations
Oconee Foundations pours concrete foundations for custom-home builders and commercial clients across the greater Athens and Lake Oconee area. We run three crews (walls, footings, and flatwork) alongside a sister concrete-pumping company, and we are growing.
The role
This is a newly created seat: our first dedicated panel-transport and placement driver. You move concrete wall panels to and from jobsites and operate our knuckleboom truck to place them safely on site. You also drive our manual-transmission panel trucks as needed and take on other driving needs across operations. Reporting to the Project Manager and SVP, you keep jobsites running and clean.
What you will own
Panel transport and placement: operate the (automatic) knuckleboom truck to transport concrete wall panels to and from jobsites and place them on site. Jobsite cleanup: clear leftover materials from jobsites – lumber planks, steel rods, and general debris. Backup driving: drive manual-transmission panel trucks as needed, plus other driving to support operations.
What success looks like
Panels placed safely and correctly, without damage or rework. On site and ready to work at 6:45 AM, Monday through Friday, every day. Jobsites left clean without being asked twice.
What you bring
Entry-level candidates are welcome – we provide on-the-job training. Valid CDL, Class A or B. Manual transmission experience / manual endorsement preferred (our backup panel trucks are manual; the primary knuckleboom truck is automatic) – not required. An operating approach that matches how we work: take care of what’s and who’s entrusted to you, see it from the other person’s side, stay humble, bring energy that lifts others, and set the standard.

On-site Monday through Friday, starting 6:45 AM daily. No overnight travel. $24-$28/hour depending on experience. Benefits include vacation, life, health, dental, and vision insurance.
