So, what does a Direct Support Professional do?
Assist individuals with daily routines and daily living skills (cooking, leisure time, socialization, budgeting, grooming, meal assistance, transportation, etc.)
Support individuals in community outings such as going to the movies, shopping, etc.
Manage time effectively
Document each individual’s progress
Ensure cleanliness of the home
Work with individuals to become more independent’
