Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Newark is one of New Jersey’s largest non-profit social service agencies with programs and facilities serving Bergen, Essex, Hudson, and Union counties.
We are currently seeking a Full Time Case Manager for our LIHEAP/USF Outreach program in Newark, NJ.
Job Duties:
Develops relationships with local social services and public benefit agencies, shelters, and faith-based and community-based organizations serving low-income, at-risk, and homeless families.
Participates in conferences, workshops, special projects, and staff meetings.
Helps individuals and families to apply and obtain LIHEAP/USF benefits.
Provides outreach sessions, visits buildings, agencies, and other locations where clients can be helped.
Manages time and works independently.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree.
1 year of related social service experience.
Valid NJ driver’s license.
Bilingual preferred.
