Project Impact 180 is a BIPOC-led nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth ages 13–24 through mentorship, education, and career development. We provide programming in leadership, entrepreneurship, academic support, and workforce readiness to youth in North Lawndale and surrounding communities.
Role Description
This is a Contract or Part-Time Hybrid role for a Career Development Specialist located in North Lawndale Chicago, IL and in potential South Suburban area . The specialist will be responsible for providing career development and counseling services, facilitating communication, coaching individuals, and developing job search strategies for clients.
Qualifications
Career Development and Career Counseling skills
Effective Communication skills
Coaching abilities
Experience in developing Job Search Strategies
Strong interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Education or related field
Previous experience in Youth services is a plus
