Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Capital Campaign Consultant, where you will play a pivotal role in empowering nonprofit and educational institutions to successfully conduct feasibility studies and capital campaigns. This remote position offers a diverse range of client-facing responsibilities, comprising approximately 90% of your work in donor engagement, volunteer management, and strategic campaign planning. We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives in a supportive, collaborative environment, eager to make a significant impact through meaningful partnerships and innovative fundraising strategies.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree: Required, no substitutions.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 years in any industry demonstrating professional maturity; experience in fundraising, higher education, or consulting is preferred.
- CRM/Database Proficiency: Minimum Excel-level; Salesforce experience is advantageous (training will be provided).
- Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to engage with individuals across all organizational levels, from C-suite executives to entry-level volunteers.
Nice to Have Skills
- Background in fundraising, higher education advancement, or consulting.
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
- Experience in the nonprofit sector.
- Membership in a Greek social organization (a plus, not required).
Preferred Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience—new graduates will not be considered.
Other Requirements
- Flexibility for occasional travel (approximately 0–15 days per year).
- Completion of one full week of paid in-person onboarding in Lawrence, KS.
