The Marte 2025 Campaign is seeking enthusiastic students and community members, eager to learn about and participate in local politics. Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to better understand the people and issues in the various neighborhoods of Lower Manhattan, including Chinatown, the Lower East Side, Tribeca, Battery Park City, and more. If you are passionate about fighting for our community and want to get a thorough understanding of its political landscape, this internship program is the perfect opportunity for you.

Talk to voters!Whether through street petitioning, flyering, door-knocking, or phone-banking, you must be able to have meaningful and personal conversations about voters’ concerns and connect those to the solutions proposed by the campaign
Analyze and report data.Collect and input data based on conversations and experiences with voters, relaying people’s reception and concerns
Create campaign materials.Help create social media posts, flyers, etc. to help spread the message of the campaign
Research issues/organizations.Be able to research anything relevant that may come up

Ability to be in-person in Lower Manhattan for 7-10 hours per week
