🎓 About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate and resourceful Business Development Manager to help expand Blackmont Consulting’s footprint in the US market, particularly within the startup and nonprofit ecosystem.
This is a part-time (5–7 hours/week), remote role ideal for someone who is motivated by impact, enjoys building relationships, and can generate opportunities efficiently within a limited time commitment.
🚀 Key Responsibilities:
● Identify and engage startups, NGOs, and nonprofit organisations that could benefit from Blackmont’s free advisory services
● Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, leadership teams, and ecosystem partners
● Develop and execute outreach strategies (LinkedIn, email campaigns, partnerships,
communities)
● Represent Blackmont Consulting in relevant online events, communities, and networks
● Create and manage a pipeline of qualified leads and partnerships
● Collaborate with internal teams to match clients with appropriate advisory support
● Provide weekly updates on outreach efforts, partnerships, and impact
📈 Requirements:
● Experience in business development, partnerships, or sales
● Strong understanding of the US startup and/or nonprofit ecosystem
● Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
● Ability to work independently and deliver results within limited hours
● Comfortable with outreach tools, CRM systems, and digital networking platforms
● Passion for social impact, entrepreneurship, and supporting early-stage ventures
📚 Preferred Qualifications:
● Existing network within US-based startups, accelerators, NGOs, or venture communities
● Experience in consulting, advisory, or working with early-stage companies
● Background in social impact, international development, or nonprofit work
