Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Business Development Manager to help scale our impact. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply aligned with youth development and holistic education, and who thrives at building meaningful partnerships, driving revenue growth, and identifying new opportunities to expand our mission.
Key Responsibilities
• Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with like minded organizations, educational institutions, nonprofits, community organizations, and aligned corporate partners.
• Market Expansion: Research and develop strategies to expand our presence into new regions, demographics, and delivery models (e.g., after-school programs, digital platforms).
• Sales Strategy & Execution: Lead outreach and sales efforts for program adoption, sponsorships, and collaborations; craft compelling pitches and proposals tailored to different stakeholders.
• Program Integration: Work cross-functionally with program and curriculum teams to align external partnerships with internal delivery capabilities.
• Data-Driven Insights: Track, report, and optimize pipeline metrics; use data to inform business strategy and identify high-impact opportunities.
• Representation: Act as an ambassador of our mission at events, conferences, and networking functions to build awareness and credibility.
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, education sales, or nonprofit/social enterprise growth.
• Demonstrated success in identifying and closing strategic partnerships.
• Deep passion for youth empowerment, social impact, and alternative/holistic education models.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proposal and pitch development.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Experience working in mission-driven or education-focused organizations is a plus.
