Position Summary
The Administrator & Chief Financial Officer serves as the financial and administrative leader of the SAFE Center of Iowa, responsible for financial management, budgeting, accounting oversight, human resources, compliance, technology systems, grants administration, and business operations.
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee all financial operations of the SAFE Center
· Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts
· Manage accounting, payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
· Prepare financial reports for the Board of Directors
· Oversee human resources, benefits, and onboarding
· Ensure compliance with regulatory and grant requirements
· Manage contracts, vendors, and administrative systems
· Support technology and reporting systems

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred in finance, accounting, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field. Five years of progressive leadership experience in finance, administration, or healthcare operations.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA, MHA, CPA, nonprofit leadership experience, healthcare administration experience, and grant-funded organization experience.
Startup & Organizational Development Responsibilities
During the initial development and growth phase of the SAFE Center of Iowa, this position may assume responsibilities outside of the standard scope of the role as needed to support organizational startup, program implementation, staffing development, and operational stability. Responsibilities may include cross-functional support until dedicated roles are fully established. As the organization grows and staffing expands, responsibilities will transition to align more closely with the defined role structure.

This position is expected to evolve as the SAFE Center of Iowa expands. Duties, reporting relationships, and areas of responsibility may be refined over time.
