Position: Breakthrough Cincinnati-Marketing Specialist
Breakthrough Cincinnati transforms the lives of young people through our unique academic enrichment experiences. Our 6-week summer program, school year program, and college bound program events give vulnerable middle school students a boost through academic, leadership, and college preparatory experiences. At Breakthrough Cincinnati, students experience “it’s cool to be smart” culture that inspires them to adopt a college-going mindset and prepares them for the rigors of college.
Alongside their also motivated peers, they learn from college-aged Teaching Fellows who really connect with them. The organization’s over 30-year, time-tested, students-teaching-students model empowers youth and college students to achieve their potential as learners, teachers, and agents of change in their communities.

Member Duties : Breakthrough Cincinnati is seeking a creative, competitive self-starter to join our team. We are expanding our organization to serve more students across Cincinnati, and we seek a partner to build our marketing capacity! You will lead the way in our marketing strategy, utilizing social media and photography to powerfully communicate our story. Ensuring smart and consistent branding, you will establish a Story Bank that captures our program’s impact on members of the community and expands its reach to additional students.
This role is in the center of the action with our students, families, donors, and staff. We are a fun and smart group of student-centered professionals and cannot wait to meet you!
** Benefits include a monthly $200 housing stipend to supplement living costs.*
