Summary
The ReStore Driver is responsible for general driving duties regarding residential and commercial pick-ups of furniture, appliances and building materials.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive ReStore trucks to scheduled pick-ups as per determined route by Manager
Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
Competency in the use of the trucks including maintenance, GPS and warehouse equipment
Ability to utilize pallet jacks, hand trucks, dollies and other equipment necessary for safely moving heavy weight items
Assist on sales floor when working in store and provide excellent customer service
Additional tasks as required or necessary.
Required Skills:
– Valid, Clean driver’s license with 1-2 years experience driving a 20 Ft Box Truck
– Capable of heavy lifting as needed for loading and unloading cargo
– Ability to follow specific route driving instructions
– Previous experience in the moving industry is beneficial
Must be willing to undergo a driver’s license and background check in accordance with local laws and regulations.
