This is not a compensation role. This is a Board Member Volunteer “Fundraising Chair” position up to 5 hours a month. If selected, the serving term is 2 years.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Fundraiser to join our Nonprofit Board. The Fundraising Chair is a volunteer who will be responsible for developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our organization’s mission and goals.
Responsibilities
– Utilize databases and market research to identify potential donors
– Manage donor relationships using software like Donor Box
– Conduct research on potential donors and grant opportunities
– Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders
– Assist in public relations efforts related to fundraising activities
– Collaborate with the team on fundraising campaigns and events
Requirements
– Previous experience in fundraising or a related field is preferred
– Proficiency in using fundraising software like Raiser’s Edge, Donor Box, etc.
– Strong relationship management skills
– Excellent research and grant writing abilities
– Customer service-oriented with good communication skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
