Role Description
As a Board Member, you will provide leadership and strategic guidance to support the mission of Act4Kids Nevada. Responsibilities include participating in board meetings, contributing to organizational planning, overseeing financial decisions, assisting with fundraising efforts, and serving as an ambassador for the organization within the community. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Las Vegas, NV, requiring active involvement in shaping the direction and impact of the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to provide strategic guidance and direction.
- Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and understanding of fiscal responsibility and compliance.
- Skills in advocacy, relationship building, and effective communication to represent the organization publicly and within the community.
- Expertise in organizational development, nonprofit governance, or healthcare systems is highly beneficial.
- Fundraising, networking, and donor engagement experience is an asset.
- A strong passion for improving healthcare access for children in Nevada.
