Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Bilingual Community Relations professional to serve as a key liaison between our client and the communities they support. This role focuses on building strong relationships, increasing community engagement, and representing the organization at events, outreach initiatives, and public forums. Flexibility is essential, as this position requires attendance at events that may occur during evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, local organizations, and stakeholders
- Plan, coordinate, and attend community events, workshops, and outreach activities
- Represent the organization professionally at public events, presentations, and networking opportunities
- Conduct community outreach efforts to promote programs, services, and resources
- Communicate effectively with diverse populations in both languages (written and verbal)
- Assist in creating culturally relevant outreach materials and messaging
- Track and report on outreach activities, community feedback, and engagement metrics
- Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach strategies with organizational goals
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English/Spanish) required
- 2+ years of experience in community relations, outreach, or a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Experience planning or supporting events and public-facing initiatives
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness and availability to work occasional evenings and weekends for community events
- Reliable transportation to attend off-site events and meetings
