Position: Bilingual Growth Animator at United Church
Location: Quebec
Empower faith communities as a Bilingual Growth and Stewardship Animator for the United Church of Canada. This hybrid role enhances discipleship through strategic engagement and outreach.
As part of the Nakonha:ka Regional Council, you will help advance the Toward 2035 initiative. With at least four years in innovative leadership, your expertise in community development and stewardship will enrich existing congregations and foster new faith communities. Collaboration with regional staff and local initiatives will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Toward 2035 as a comprehensive strategy
• Foster relationships with existing communities of faith
• Support planning for new faith communities
• Conduct data-informed outreach and programming
• Encourage diverse and resilient church practices
Requirements:
• Bilingual in French and English
• Four years in congregational leadership
• Background in theology or community development
• Skills in project management and fundraising
• Experience in multi-ethnic and rural ministry settings
