Pineywoods Christian Church is seeking God’s guidance in looking for the next Lead Pastor.
Pineywoods Christian Church is an Independent, non-denominational, elder-led Christian church with a Traditional background. The purpose of the congregation is to worship the Triune God and spread the love of Christ in accordance with “the Great Commission” (Matt 28:19-20).
Pineywoods Christian Church is seeking a Pastor with a gifting in exegetical preaching to be a shepherd to the congregation, become involved in the community, and help to bring new families into the church. The Pastor who will lead the church forward should agree with the “What We Believe” points, which may be found on the church’s website.
Pineywoods Christian Church was founded in 2022 as a church plant of another church and became an independent entity in December of 2023. The church believes in the calling to love the neighbors and be open to all those who seek a relationship with the Lord. The church does not judge nor does it make Christians; it opens doors to show God’s love and lets God take care of the rest.
Pineywoods Christian Church is located in Livingston, Texas (a little more than an hour north of the greater Houston area). Livingston is in beautiful East Texas and is the home of Lake Livingston, offering excellent hunting and fishing in the area.
The position is bi-vocational initially (though Pineywoods Christian Church is able to offer a housing allowance). If interested, please submit a resume.
