Position: BCGEU Staff Representative for Events
Join BCGEU as a Temporary Staff Representative, enhancing member engagement through events and campaigns. This role emphasizes communication and strategic partnerships within the community.

In the role of Temporary Staff Representative, you’ll support member engagement activities, focusing on the coordination of events and campaigns that foster community outreach. You’ll work closely with elected leaders, utilizing your organizational skills to ensure events meet their objectives while developing materials that resonate with members. This is a temporary three-month position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and support BCGEU member initiatives

• Coordinate activities for conferences and round tables

• Facilitate advocacy campaign planning and execution

• Collaborate with stakeholders on community outreach

• Develop member communication materials and resources

Requirements:

• Proven experience in campaign or outreach strategies

• Strong facilitation and relationship-building abilities

• Understanding of equity and diversity principles

• Excellent written communication skills

• Experience with project management tools
