Base Salary: Up to $200k (depending on experience and productivity)
Practice: Insurance Defense – General liability, premises liability, auto, and complex casualty defense for insurers and corporate clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Defend insureds in general liability, premises liability, auto, and complex casualty matters.
- Manage litigation from discovery through depositions, motion practice, and trial.
- Prepare for and participate in mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Collaborate with clients and partners on defense strategy and resolution.
- Take meaningful ownership of cases with increasing responsibility and autonomy.
Core Requirements (Flexibility for Exceptional Candidates):
- JD and active DC or VA bar.
- 3–7+ years of insurance defense or complex civil litigation experience.
- Strong writing and advocacy skills.
