Primary Function:
As the Athletics Coordinator, you will implement, direct, and coordinate athletic programs that align with the mission and core values of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. You’ll be responsible for planning, organizing, and supervising sports activities that promote personal growth, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles among our Club members.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and lead daily gym activities and the Triple Play program in coordination with the Program Director.
Organize and manage seasonal sports leagues (basketball, flag football, indoor soccer, etc.).
Host sports clinics and introduce new games with clear instruction and rules.
Maintain attendance records, update sports bulletin boards, and prepare monthly reports.
Recruit, train, and supervise volunteer coaches, referees, and gym staff.
Ensure all equipment is maintained, organized, and accounted for.
Promote gym activities through announcements, contests, and community engagement.
Maintain a clean, safe, and positive environment for all members.
Assist with transportation duties and maintain strong relationships with parents and local athletic departments.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
CPR and First Aid Certification (required).
Proven ability to work effectively with youth, parents, and community leaders.
Clean driving record and ability to obtain a Class B license.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.31 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 28 per week
Schedule:
After school
Evenings as needed
Weekends as needed
