Young Life Northeast Texas Region is prayerfully seeking an Associate Regional Director to join our fun-loving,collaborative, “kid-first”leadershipteam. The Northeast Texas Region is known for its trailblazing work serving under-resourced populations and adiversegroup of kids, through focus ministries. Current ministry in active areas includes high school, Wyld Life, Young Lives, Capernaum, and Young Life College.
This role will supervise six to twelve areas, with a focus on ministry to kids in Latino communities. Key attributes of success in this role will center around healthy supervision of thriving areas, the growth of volunteers, and creative outreach to highly Latino communities. The ideal candidate will be Biblically rooted; possess experience growing healthy ministry in Latino communities, and be culturally agile and comfortable leading and communicating indiversespaces (ethnic, socioeconomic, generation).
They will be a patient coach, teacher, and cultural-translator; and (most of all) have a heart centered in Christ.

Must be able to supervise at a distance but also travel as the job requires.
Young Life experience strongly preferred.
Position will reside in greater Dallas area.
Spanish-speaking strongly desired.
Connections to Dallas Latino community or experience in community relations strongly desired.
Has the potential and capacity to function as a regional director.
Associate Regional Director
Summary:
Represent the regional office in carrying out the regional function to ensure good Young Life ministry in that region, as well as knowing and upholding all Young Life policies and procedures.
Ministry Functions:
Spiritual Development – “following Jesus.” Includes:
Prayer and spiritual disciplines, fellowship, growth and health, and church relationships.
Develop a yearlypersonal growthplan that fosters a vibrant spiritual life including time for solitude, retreat, reflection, prayer, and a sincere commitment to understanding God’s Word.
Seek and maintain relationships and disciplines in the context of active participation in a church community.
Actively participate in the spiritual life of the Young Life community.
Lead teams and individuals in spiritual development.
Ensure that all Young Life ministry in the region is designed and carried out with a dependence on prayer that takes place out of the overflow of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
