New City Church Alma exists to glorify God by making disciples who change the world around them. Our mission is to exalt Jesus above all things, equip the church for ministry, and engage our community and world with the gospel. We are currently seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Worship and Family to serve in both our worship and next generation ministries.
New City was planted in October of 2010 in Alma, Georgia. In the 14 years of our existence, God has both saved the lost and strengthened the saved. As we look to this next chapter as a church, we’re praying that God uses this season to bring both revival to our church and renewal to our city.

Qualifications:
Qualifications
• Meets the qualifications for a pastor/elder found in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:6-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-3.
• Have a growing relationship with Jesus.
• Prioritizes leading family well over other work.
• Agrees with our church’spurpose, mission, values, and statement of faith.
• Desires to develop, lead, and facilitate ministries.
• Interested in ministry in a small-town environment and church revitalization.
• 3-5 years of experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Skills
• Able to teach in any environment (Sunday morning preaching, children’s ministry, student ministry, adult small groups, etc.).
• Organized to coordinate and manage schedules of volunteers.
• Facilitator of ministries to equip the church for doing ministry.
• Connects well with children and students.
• Able to sing and play guitar and/or piano/keyboard to lead worship.
• Able to lead worship both solo and with a band.
• Knowledge of updated audio/visual technology (Pro Presenter, editing/uploading sermon recordings, sound board, in-ear monitors, etc.).
