Full-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:

Function
To help the Social Services Director maintain the food warehouse and the food bank room and to maintain good relations with the clients and other community donors and the Food Bank of the Rockies.
Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain food pantry and distribute food boxes and weekend bags.
Assist with the distribution of TEFAP food and CSFP.
Oversee the food pantry when the Director is out of the building.
Help oversee Montrose for the food pantry.
Plan 4 food drives a year.
Education, Experience, Skills, Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High School Graduate or GED. Must have a working knowledge of Social Services.
Skills:
Experienced with Microsoft Office and Excel.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Driving Requirements:
If the position requires driving:
Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid in-state Driver’s License.
Continued employment will be contingent upon a biennial (every two years) background check that is processed in accordance with The Salvation Army’s policies.
Physical Requirements
Ability to maneuver.
Ability to remain in a stationary position.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead.
Ability to operate a telephone.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.
Ability to access and produce information from the computer.
Ability to understand written information.
