What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Supervise and mentor a team of data analysts providing data products and intelligence for direct mail appeals and other fundraising initiatives
Actively participate in project launch meetings and translate data concepts to business needs for non-technical clients
Coordinate with direct mail vendors to facilitate necessary data for mail and event programs
Ensure timely delivery and accuracy of ad-hoc data requests while adhering to HIPAA regulations
Create and maintain business requirement documentation and instruction manuals for data products
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
Minimum 4 years of experience, including 2-3 years in a fast-paced nonprofit environment
At least 2 years of supervisory experience, particularly with remote teams
Advanced skills in handling large datasets in MS Excel or MS Access
Proficiency in writing advanced queries in CRM or reporting platform and SQL
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Raiser’s Edge and ImportOmatic
Proficiency in Python or R
Strong track record of being proactive and resolving problems independently
Excellent organizational skills to prioritize competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
