This role is an essential part of the Utah Athletics fundraising team, focusing on cultivating, asking, and stewarding donors to support Utah Athletics through the Crimson Club.
Job Summary
The Assistant Director of Annual Giving reports to the Associate AD for Development and is responsible for driving membership, managing an annual fund portfolio of approximately 100 donors, conducting outreach, and supporting hospitality and events.
Responsibilities
Drive Annual Giving Membership: Assist with membership drives, campaigns, and moves management, focusing on Crimson Club Levels 5-7 ($3k-$10k).
Manage Donor Portfolio: Oversee outreach to approximately 100 donors, including loyalty points outreach.
Support Hospitality and Events: Assist in organizing and executing events and hospitality efforts.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements
Office environment, with frequent sitting, hearing, listening, talking, and occasional walking, bending, and reaching overhead.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communication, Public Relations, English, or related field, or equivalent experience.
At least five years in fundraising, marketing, sales, or related fields, including two years of budgeting and supervisory experience.
Effective communication and human relations skills.
Preferred experience includes grant writing, public speaking, media work, and understanding university fundraising practices.
