The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join ourAdvancement& Partnerships team as the Assistant Director forLeadershipAnnual Giving. This pivotal role will contribute to the growth of mid-level giving and help build philanthropic capacity for UCF Libraries. The Assistant Director will be responsible for cultivating, soliciting, and stewardingleadership-level annual gifts, as well as managing a portfolio of 75 donors and identifying over 400 new prospects.
This position will work under the UCF Libraries, funded through the Libraries’ budget, and managed by the Assistant Vice President for Annual Giving, with a dotted line to the Dean of Libraries.
Responsibilities:
Cultivate, solicit, and stewardleadership-level annual gifts.
Conduct face-to-face visits withleadershipannual giving donors and prospects.
Manage a portfolio of at least 75 donors,building relationshipsthrough outreach and face-to-face meetings to deepen their affinity for UCF Libraries and increase their philanthropic support.
Identify and engage over 400 new prospects through strategic discovery processes to expand theleadershipdonor base.
Collaborate with colleagues to share donor stories, develop annual and long-term strategic fundraising goals, and promote funding opportunities.
Contribute to the development of touchpoints for donor cultivation and stewardship.
Assist in the recruitment of volunteer leaders for the Dean’s Advisory Board.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination ofeducationand experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219.
Preferred Qualifications:
Nonprofit or fundraising experience, preferably in a highereducationsetting.
Experience inleadershipannual giving or mid-level giving programs.
Familiarity with fundraising databases and donor management software.
Proven success in identifying, cultivating, and securingleadership-level gifts.
Strong strategic thinking andproblem-solvingabilities.
Experience in collaborating across departments or teams to achieve fundraising goals.
Knowledge of UCF’s mission and values, with a passion for highereducationand its role in shaping communities.
Special Instructions to the Applicants:
The anticipatedsalary rangefor this position is $62,334- $68,637. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and internal equity considerations.
