Position Overview
The Assistant Director, Employee Giving & Engagement, reports to the Sr. Director, National Employee Giving Programs. This role manages City of Hope’s employee giving program, Hope Starts with Us, serving as a liaison to employees and ensuring program success and strategic improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the Hope Starts with Us Employee Giving Program
Develop and execute strategies to increase fundraising and engagement, including managing volunteer programs, events, and communications.
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and Data teams to ensure accurate data and reporting, and develop dashboards for tracking giving activity.
Fundraising and Stewardship
Promote HSWU through marketing, events, and campaigns like Walk for Hope, Giving Tuesday, and Payroll Deduction.
Coordinate communication efforts, including email, mailings, and content review, ensuring brand consistency and timely delivery.
Oversee project teams, handle donor inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (experience may substitute).
1-3 years in non-profit or related industry.
