Are you a finance leader looking to make a real impact? Our client, a well-established nonprofit in San Diego, is seeking a Assistant Controller to drive financial operations, oversee budgeting and audits, and support mission-driven programs.

What You’ll Do:
Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting & compliance.
Manage budgets, forecasts & cash flow strategies.
Lead audit processes & ensure GAAP compliance.
Support & mentor a team of finance professionals.
What You Bring:
8+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience preferred).
5+ years of leadership experience in accounting teams (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets)
Strong GAAP knowledge, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
Advanced Excel skills & experience with financial software.
