Role Description This is an on-site contract role for an Assistant Coach based in Dorado. The Assistant Coach will be responsible for supporting the implementation of First Tee’s programs, assisting with coaching sessions, and ensuring a safe and positive environment for all participants. The role involves teaching golf techniques, life skills, and core values to youth participants, engaging with parents and guardians, and upholding the organization’s standards and values. As an Assistant Coach, you will be expected to support the Lead Coach on site by running stations, enforcing safety protocols, engaging participants, following risk management directive, and other program specific activities.
Qualifications
Experience in coaching or teaching, particularly in youth programs
Knowledge of golf techniques and rules
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to inspire and motivate young people
Commitment to First Tee’s mission and values
High level of enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism
CPR and First Aid certification are a plus
Relevant qualifications in Physical Education, Coaching, or a related field
Job Type: Contract
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 5 per week
