AFC’s purpose is to help people discover – and experience – the transformative power of design.
Help with our Doors Open Cincy program
The program is a behind-the-scenes tour of OTR’s most historic and interesting places. We are hosting it in association with Blink, so we’re expecting a great turnout. We need our volunteers to help with registering and signing-in guests. Our volunteers will spend one, four-hour shift at one of our awesome venues (ranging from Rhinegeist to the Know Theatre) helping participants. We’ve got shirts, breakfast or lunch, and snacks throughout the day!

How you help
We host numerous programs that engage volunteers. Our biggest is an on-going collaboration with schools around Cincinnati, Design Lab. We also offer a variety of other programming to the broader public, including Doors Open and The Great House Tour. We rely on volunteers to make these things a reality!
About us
We are a non-profit established in 1982 for the purpose of educating and connecting the public with our industry. Our board is comprised of local leaders in construction, architecture, and design – they go out of their way to bring their work to all of Cincinnati.
