Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled AP/AR Supervisor to join their team!
Inceed has partnered with a fantastic local government entity to help find a skilled Supervisor to join their finance team! This is a great opportunity to step into a leadership role and make an immediate impact, helping to guide A/P and A/R functions while also contributing to broader financial initiatives. Responsibilities
Supervise accounts payable and receivable staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
Oversee vendor maintenance, purchasing card programs, and weekly check runs
Review journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
Assist with 1099 prep, deposits, reporting, and filing of tax returns
Collaborate across departments to resolve vendor/payment issues and recommend process improvements
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
3+ years of accounting or finance experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong understanding of general accounting principles, A/P, A/R, and journal entries
Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments
Proficiency in Excel and financial systems
Nice To Have Skills & Experience
Government or nonprofit sector experience
Experience with enterprise accounting systems
Familiarity with purchasing card programs, vendor management, or tax filings
