Job Summary:
The Annual Giving Manager is a key member of the Development team. This person is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual donors to support annual giving. This position will oversee direct mail and the annual fund including donor stewardship, cultivation, and retention.
Essential Annual Giving Manager Functions:
Demonstrate La Rabida Childrens Hospitals core values.
Stay abreast of current trends and research in philanthropy.
Manage a portfolio of individual prospects and donors and cultivate private family foundation support.
Oversee and launch a bi-annual direct mail campaign to support the fundraising goals.
Communicate with donors via phone, email and in-person to advance La Rabidas mission,
strategic vision
and identify ways to align with donors desires to impact that mission.
Provide donors with high-quality reporting on the impact of their gifts.
Represent La Rabida Childrens Hospital at events in and around the community.
Participate in regularly scheduled department meetings. Collaborate and help with fundraising marketing activities, including events.
Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
