Introduction
Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Annual Giving Coordinator is responsible for supporting the LSU Foundation’s centrally led annual giving strategies across multiple channels, with an emphasis on crowdfunding andleadershipannual giving, to advance LSU’s academic fundraising priorities.

The Annual Giving Coordinator supports the LSU Foundation’s annual giving strategies, focusing on crowdfunding andleadershipannual giving.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
(40 %) Serve as project lead for crowdfunding efforts and digital-focused campaigns, working closely with colleagues campus wide to align initiatives with university branding and priorities.
(20 %) Provideproject managementand strategy development forleadershipannual giving efforts serving academic units campus wide, with a focus on increasing donor retention and upgrades.
(15 %) Enhance the use of online giving and digital marketing (e.g., email, websites, social media, and texting platforms) to create a personal and positive giving experience for donors.
(15 %) Analyze data to gain insights and assess the performance of digital fundraising efforts to improve segmentation and messaging.
(10 %) Perform other duties as assigned.
Non-Essential / Marginal Position Responsibilities
Contribute as a creative thought partner on selected annual giving projects.
Requirements
Required level/type of experience
Proficient Level in Office 365 suite, particularly Excel.
Educational background or work experience in communications and marketing, fundraising, and/or nonprofit industries.
Demonstrated ability to research, develop, implement, and evaluate project plans.
Strong technological literacy and experience learning and working with digital communications tools.
Preferred level/type of experience
Proven skill in data analysis for marketing efforts.
Knowledge of client-services models, including marketing operations andproject management.
Experience working within a CRM.
Preferred abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects withattention to detailand deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal, administrative, and organizational skills.
Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills.
Required education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
Preferred education
Master’s degree in a related field of study from an accredited college or university.
