JOB SUMMARY
The Housing Advocate Team Lead will perform various duties relating to working with poverty and vulnerable populations. This team member will work at The Road Home’s Most Vulnerable Population crisis services and shelter program, serving up to 160 adult individuals daily. The MVP Program prioritizes aging and medically vulnerable individuals that are experiencing homelessness, providing safe, accommodating non-congregate emergency shelter. The Lead Housing Advocate will provide excellent customer service, resources, and support to our Resource Center guests, from a Trauma-Informed Care and Housing First perspective.

JOB DUTIES
You Will:
Providequality customer serviceto our guests, who may be in need of resources in addition to a warm bed for the night.
Monitor and help regulate activities at the Resource Center, ensuring rules and procedures are followed by both staff and guests.
Provide clear and specific information and instruct guests of Resource Center rules/procedures in a kind, compassionate, and trauma-informed way.
Assist in maintaining a clean and safe facility, identifying special needs and referring needs to supervisor.
Assist in resolving conflicts that may arise among guests.
